Claire & Drew

Claire & Drew

Claire and Drew chose secluded meadow in the Essex countryside for their laidback, festival style wedding. The weather couldn’t have been better with the sun belting down on the wild grass.

They truly made the days theirs. My favourite detail of the day was the decision by the couple to walk down the aisle together -which in this case was a grassy path leading into a secluded bit of woodland for the ceremony. This allowed the couple to have an intimate moment together before facing their family and friends waiting in-between the trees.

The reception was held in two huge tipi tents, which really complimented the festival feel of the day. As well as the Glastonbury style flags that brought flashed of colour to the typical English meadow. The tables were beautiful, decorated with flowers all bought from local garden centres.

After the speeches, I grabbed the Claire and Drew for their couples shots. They were keen to try out the colourful smoke bombs I had brought with me. They worked out great, especially with the sun setting low in the sky.

During the evening, the guests (and the groom) got comfortable in casual clothes ready for the party to continue into the early hours.

All in all – a perfect balmy Summer wedding.
